Cosmic C compiler and software tools

Cosmic Software's toolchain for ST 8-bit microcontrollers is part of a complete product line incorporating over 20 years of design and development experience. In addition, Cosmic product support includes one-year technical support and updates via a network of offices covering France, Germany, Sweden the US and the UK, and support representatives in Asia-Pac and the Middle East. Their range of software tools includes: C Cross Compiler for STM8 and ST7: optimizing ANSI-C cross compiler, macro assembler, linker, librarian, hex file generator, object format converters, debugging support utilities, run-time library source code, and a multi-pass compiler command driver. The compiler also supports non-intrusive C source-level debugging and offers full integration into supporting integrated development environments including Cosmic IDEA and ST Visual Develop (STVD). ZAP: full featured source-level debugger with intuitive graphical interface in "simulator" version (no hardware), and "ST Emulator" versions supporting ST7-EMU3 and ST7-DVP3 series emulators for ST7 microcontrollers.

IDEA: integrated development environment for ST processors is designed specifically for Cosmic compilers. Includes editor, project manager, graphical smart build/make facility, program analyzer, link file generator, documentation manager and ZAP debugger.
